Weigh in on important issues by submitting a commentary to Voice of San Diego.
Here are a few requirements and tips for our op-eds:
- No longer than 800 words
- We don’t publish ghostwritten op-eds; only the person (or people) who wrote the op-ed should appear in the byline.
- Your piece should expand on issues we cover (education, police reform, transportation, etc.).
- Use plain, simple language.
Ready to submit your commentary? Have more questions? Email opinion@voiceofsandiego.org or andrea.sanchez@voiceofsandiego.org.
If you have something to say about a story we published, let us know in a letter to the editor. See those guidelines here.
