Tuesday, June 20, 2006 | Right on, Vonn Marie! San Diego certainly needs to rethink its priorities regarding our sacrosanct military presence. The world has changed and so has the military. A dual-use airport is too harmful to the ecosystem, and the future of the city needs to take priority as roles change and world geopolitical strategies evolve. Thank you for having the courage to call a spade a spade. It is obvious that things change, and the Navy needs to let go of San Diego for the good of all.
