City Attorney Mike Aguirre announced today that he has charged Sunroad Enterprises Vice President Tom Story with violating a city lobbying law. According to the misdemeanor complaint, Story attempted to influence decisions over the Sunroad Centrum building near Montgomery Field airport within one year of being employed as a city official. City rules prohibit the practice as a way to safeguard against undue influence.
Story was an aide to former mayor Dick Murphy and a top administrator in the city’s development agency.
