Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 | Now I see why the remains of the U-T that is delivered to one’s home has a poor connection to the web version. The L.A. Times, The N.Y. Times and particularly The Wall Street Journal have designed their websites to make them work in tandem with the printed newspaper. It’s the only way to keep your paper pertinent these days. The Wall Street Journal, in particular, is doing a phenomenal job.

I’m getting closer and closer to canceling my subscription to the U-T. So many of the articles are imported from other news venues, and so few are written by their own reporters. I dislike the SignOnSanDiego.com site. It is not user-friendly. The U-T should have their own title on the web, or something close.
