It’s official: San Diego Unified will seek just one superintendent. Though the school board had aired the unusual idea of seeking two or more leaders to work in a leadership team, its members voted narrowly today to stick with a single superintendent. John de Beck and Shelia Jackson opposed the idea of keeping the status quo, saying that San Diego Unified should consider alternatives.
