Interested in learning more about homelessness in San Diego?

Come out to a panel discussion that I’ll be moderating this evening in Balboa Park. It’s part of the San Diego Historical Society’s “San Diego NOW” discussion series.

The panel participants will include Simonne Ruff, director of San Diego’s Corporation for Supportive Housing; Sandy Maynes, CEO of the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless; and James Justus, an active Sherman Heights resident and advocate for the homeless.

We’ll be having a general, informal discussion about the current state of the homelessness issue in San Diego, and there should be plenty of time for questions, too.

The conversation gets under way at 6 p.m. at the Museum of San Diego History, located in Balboa Park’s Casa de Balboa Building (It’s building No. 14 on this map).
