You might have noticed that San Diego Police Chief William Lansdowne rarely shows up in my blog posts and stories. The Police Department usually directs me to talk with other officers organizing operations, investigating crimes or watching trends.

That’s not unusual for a metropolitan police force, but it means I don’t communicate directly with Lansdowne that often. I usually see him at press conferences or committee meetings like most of the public.

So I’ve scheduled a one-on-one meeting with Lansdowne for this week’s Q&A feature. I have a few topics already in mind, but what do you want to know?

Please send me your suggestions by e-mailing keegan.kyle@voiceofsandiego.org or calling 619.550.5668. Providing links or background material is helpful.
