Here’s a storyline to follow: County Supervisor Ron Roberts has been teetering on the 50 percent needed for him to win outright tonight and avoid a November runoff election.

He began the night a shade above 50 percent but has dipped below to 49.67 percent of the vote as of the latest results (28.2 percent of precincts reporting).

This is going to be interesting.

Democrats threw a crew of four candidates at Roberts and tried to split the vote to force a runoff.

Roberts’ longtime colleague, Bill Horn, looks like he’s headed for a runoff already.
