Mann Middle School teacher Ebonee Weathers’ classroom was amazingly decorated. She had motivational phrases pinned up on the walls, a Michael Jackson poster in the corner and even a hand-painted section of her wall.

But what really piqued my interest was her interaction with the students. One, in particular, stood out, if solely for the student’s and teacher’s respective hairdos. Above, Weathers works with eighth grader Brandon Sevilla on a writing project.
