With the Voice of San Diego being a wonderful tool for the city residents, why not build a campaign to force our elected officials to stop all the silly political spending? Make it a point to record and publish, DAILY, the bottom line numbers on where the money is going. If the people were faced with how their money was being spent, day after day, they would soon become aware of how badly their money is being used. Year after year, all we hear is more taxes, yet never see any sound reduction in foolish spending. Your organization has the people and the tools to provide an amazing educational service this community. Teachers want more money and they keep turning out dumb kids. Cops want more toys and crime still hangs around. City fathers want more money and roads are decayed, city buildings are run down and they want a raise. Place the city budget in the hands of the private sector and in no time all would be well. The answer is to make every resident aware, every day of how bad things are. There are more of us than them, as they say. Give it a go!
