A “goat award” for promoting a faster way for San Diegans to report potholes? City Councilman Kevin Faulconer has a track record of delivering results to improve city streets, including passing legislation to streamline road repairs. The city once pledged to repair potholes within a few days. If it’s true that the city’s Street Division is taking weeks to repair a pothole, Faulconer believes it’s a problem — and it must be solved. Promoting the pothole hotline is the right thing to do. This “goat” should be put out to pasture.
