A user on the site Spearboard.com writes: “The Coastal Commission hearing was the warm-up. This is game time. We need them to say NO! to the rope.”

Everyone who cares about the seal rookery at Children’s Pool beach needs to send an email right now to planningcommission.sandiego.gov asking the Planning Commission to deny the appeal by the LJCPA and approve the city of San Diego’s site development permit for the year-round rope. In addition, the presence of supporters for the city is crucial, since the decision of the Planning Commission is final. Fill out a speaker slip and either speak for two minutes yourself or cede your time. You must be present at the time your name is called. If you care, come Sept. 27 to the San Diego Planning Commission meeting.
