In the latest edition of VOSD Radio, Scott Lewis and Will Carless explain state Treasurer Bill Lockyer’s comments about Poway schools’ billion-dollar bond. Lockyer said: “I would fire staff that made a deal like this. And if I were a voter, I’d pick a different school board. But that’s just how I react to how egregious I think this deal is.”

They also highlight other recent stories: the reality of the Balboa Park Conservancy two years after its formation, the difference between new Carl DeMaio (mayoral candidate) and old Carl DeMaio (government-training business owner) on a hotel-room tax increase and how much of DeMaio’s 2010 financial plan has already been attempted.

Also discussed on the show: A Fact Check on DeMaio about an incident his opponent Bob Filner had at an airport in 2007 (verdict: “Misleading“).

Plus, find out why VOSD Radio named U-T San Diego publisher Doug Manchester as the Hero of the Week and U.S. Attorney Laura Duffy as the Goat of the Week. Listen to it here.
