As a retired senior citizen dependent on public transportation, the discontinuation of Sunday service and limited Saturday service for Route 27 bus on Balboa Avenue has greatly impacted all residents who use it for appointments, classes, work, church services, events and recreation. This is a tremendous hardship for Clairemont residents who depend on public transportation. Several years ago, Route 44 was changed and the new route does not adequately serve us. Aren’t we trying to encourage public transportation for environmental reasons as well as our well-being?

As a resident, I am well aware of our community challenges and I feel that our Clairemont community deserves the consideration and respect of being one of the best communities to live in San Diego.
