Shipyard industry reps and their hoards of signature-gatherers put up quite the fight to stop a community plan compromise from taking hold in Barrio Logan. And on Tuesday, voters shot down Propositions B and C.

Chris Wahl is the lobbyist who’s been at the front of the fight. He joined Andy Keatts and Scott Lewis on this week’s VOSD Radio podcast to talk about the fraught dynamics that have characterized the effort to update Barrio Logan’s community plan.

Plus, Keatts and Lewis debrief post-election. The one mild surprise came during early returns but was quickly deflated, and the guys both have concerns about an ugly race in November for City Council’s District 6.
