In the latest edition of VOSD Radio, Scott Lewis and Andrew Keatts break down the week in news:

• A judge ruled Mayor Bob Filner doesn’t have to sign the deal hoteliers want him to. (Before the ruling, Filner offered a new set of terms that hoteliers rejected.)

• That judge, Timothy Taylor, is having an impact on the region with his decisions (he also ruled in the Balboa Park remodel plan case and the San Diego Association of Governments’ 40-year transportation plan case).

• Lewis and Keatts give a quick review of some of the candidates running in the March 26 special election to fill the District 4 City Council seat.

Plus, find out why VOSD Radio named the county Board of Supervisors as Hero of the Week and San Diego Voice & Viewpoint publisher John Warren as Goat of the Week. Listen here.
