Thursday, May 3, 2007 | Inch by inch the jewel of our park is being given away to special interest group for little or no money. The recent undervalued valet contract for one parking lot and the loss of a Grape Street Neighborhood Park to a single user group (dog owners) with no profit to the city underscores the bad land use decisions made under Councilwoman Toni Atkins.

If she so values Balboa Park, why is she giving it away? And what does it cost to maintain five acres of Grape Street Park for a pet pasture?
