Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008 | Brian Maienschein wants to be city attorney. Did he not sit on the Council when some of the votes took place, putting our city in the national spotlight? You know “Enron by the sea.” If my memory serves, some on the Council said they got bad advice by staffers, pension boards and the then city attorney. If all that happened while he was there, how can he be qualified as a legal expert? If I am wrong I would love to get the answer.
