The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s effort to expand Lindbergh Field, which has been plodding along for three years, has an animation worth watching if you’re curious what’s Lindbergh’s near-term future looks like.

The $650 million project calls for a 5,000-space parking garage, double-decked arrival and departure curbs and 10 additional gates at Terminal II. It has not yet been approved by the airport authority’s board.
