The National Electrical Contractors Association announced its endorsement today of city attorney candidate Brian Maienschein.
In a press release, the group described Maienschein as a candidate who “has proved himself a leader with every opportunity presented to him” and “endeared himself to his constituents with his calm, unwavering support after the devastating fires in Rancho Bernardo and Scripps Ranch.”
A recent SurveyUSA/KGTV poll puts Maienschein in a close race for second place with Judge Jan Goldsmith and City Council President Scott Peters, who has the backing of the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council.
