I’ve been admiring and getting a bit wistful watching the 2014 Ken Burns documentary series on Eleanor, Franklin and Theodore Roosevelt.
Sara’s favorite thing is a recent article in Politico about Zachary Taylor, “an inexperienced, unqualified, loutish, wealthy outsider with ambiguous party loyalties,” who was the chosen candidate of the Whig Party in 1848.
